Preschool Purpose

The Owensboro Church of Christ Preschool seeks to provide a positive educational experience for three and four-year-olds in a Christian environment.

Knowing that each child is uniquely gifted, it is our desire to help each child grow in self-esteem, learn the value of peer relationships, and be prepared to excel in elementary school.

Most of all, we want the child to have fun and know that God loves them and we love them.

Daily Activities

Each child will be exposed to learning activities which will include…

Arts, crafts, numbers, shapes, letters, Bible stories, getting along with others, being responsible, singing, reasoning, rhyming, sequencing,
relationships, outside play, inside play and more.

Birthdays

Each child’s birthday will be recognized and observed during snack time.  Parents and siblings are invited.

The parent/guardian is responsible for any cupcakes or birthday cakes. Any special snack must be commercially prepared.

Preschool Calendar

• Three-Year-Olds
  Preschool is available for three-year-olds from 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.
• Four-Year-Olds
  Preschool is available for four-year-olds from 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
• Pre-Kindergarten
  The Pre-Kindergarten class meets each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

The Preschool program for all age groups follows the Daviess County School calendar, with the exception of start and closing dates.  An early drop-off time of 7:30 a.m. is available for those families needing this service.

Preschool Admissions Policy

If a parent wishes to enroll a child in the program, the following forms must be filed/completed:

1. Registration form;
2. A current immunization certificate;
3. Any documents addressing custodial issues.

Preschool Fees and Tuition

The prices below reflect the prices for Fall 2012-2013.

• Enrollment
  A non-refundable registration fee of $50 is due when the child is enrolled in the program.
• Monthly Tuition Fee
  Our tuition for the three-year-old program is $80 a month.
  The tuition for the four-year-old program is $100 a month.
  The Pre-Kindergarten tuition is $100 a month.
