Welcome!  Our Youth and Family Ministry exists to foster each young person’s growth in becoming the person God created them to be.  This happens in numerous ways but it all starts with a relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.  Through our age-specific classes and activities we seek to offer each young person a chance to come into a saving relationship with Jesus and to learn how to live out the Christian life in an increasingly non-Christian world.

The Bible is Central

We believe that God has revealed his unique plan for history and salvation through a book – the Bible.  Because we believe the Bible contains the very words of God Himself (2 Tim. 3:16-17), all of our ministries are centered around studying what the Bible says.  Whether it’s 4-year-olds reading about Noah’s obedience to God in building an ark or teenagers learning about the book of Romans, our classes center around the teaching of Scripture.  Through our youth ministries young children as well as young men and women are taught to know God’s word and how to study it for themselves.

A Place of Love

We believe all people were created in the image of God (Gen. 1:26) and therefore ALL people have great inherent value.  Because of this another goal of our Youth and Family ministries is to provide young people with a community of friends where they will find love and acceptance – no matter their race, gender, or social status at school.  We regularly coordinate many fellowship-oriented activities so our children and teenagers can build loving relationships with other Christians their age as well as adult volunteers and staff.
