Congregational Activities
Saturday, May 19-Boulware Mission Meal-Jimmy Bunch’s Sunday School Class will prepare & serve food for the evening meal at the Boulware Mission. Serving begins at 4:30pm.
Saturday, May 19-Young Couples Ministry-The Young Couples Ministry will meet for some good food, good fellowship and good Bible study. All young married and engaged couples are invited to meet at the church building at 5pm. Please bring a food dish or two and also your Bibles!
Sunday, May 27-Mission Trip Meeting-All those signed up to attend the mission trip in St. Louis are encouraged to attend this meeting, during which you will receive important information regarding details of our mission trip to St. Louis. The meeting will start at 5pm in room 110.
Monday, May 28-Boulware Mission-We serve the evening meal from 4:45-6pm.
Saturday, June 2-Spring Work Day-All men & women are invited to come at 7am and help with several jobs that need to be done. Charles Gholson & Kevin Hardy will coordinate the list of activities for the day including mulching, shrub & tree trimming, light bulb replacements, repairing of downspouts and window washing.
Sunday, June 3-Senior Banquet-Following the morning worship service everyone is invited to celebrate our graduating high school seniors with a catered lunch and a presentation in their honor. This year our graduating seniors are Mackenzie Clark, Madison Lee, Matt Leonard, Katlyn McEntire and Samantha Volk. Come show your support for their accomplishments thus far and their future.
Sunday, June 3-Justin & Bridget Morgan Baby Shower-All ladies are invited to attend a shower from 2-4pm, at the church building. The Morgan’s are expecting a girl! They are registered at Baby’s R Us, Pottery Barn & Target. Megan Wimp, Misty Peay & Paula Lyons are the hostesses.
Tuesday, June 5-Ladies Night Out-Ladies will meet at the home of Tracy Bunch at 6:30pm for dinner, 7:30pm for devo. Sign up at the Ladies’ bulletin board if you plan to eat. If you eat, the cost is $3.
Monday-Friday, June 11-15-St. Louis Mission Trip-Mark your calendars. This year we will return to St. Louis and the North City Church of Christ for our mission trip. We will help with repairing and updating their building facilities in the day time and put on a Vacation Bible School for inner city children in the evening. Both teens and adults are invited to attend. Cost is $90 plus spending money. Special rate of $75 per person for any family with multiple members going. Sign up deadline is Sunday, May 13. Sign up at the bulletin board if you plan to attend.
